1. Services
pedido.miami provides custom logistics solutions including but not limited to:
- International and domestic shipping services
- Warehouse management and automation
- Custom API endpoints and integrations
- Import/export facilitation and customs compliance
- Ground transportation and delivery services
Specific service terms will be outlined in individual service agreements or quotes.
2. Account Registration and Use
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up-to-date
3. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipping information and documentation
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding shipped goods
- Properly package items according to carrier requirements
- Not ship prohibited, dangerous, or illegal items
- Pay all fees and charges in accordance with the agreed payment terms
- Provide complete and accurate customs declarations for international shipments
4. Prohibited Items
You may not use our services to ship:
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Hazardous materials not properly declared and handled
- Stolen goods or counterfeit items
- Items that violate intellectual property rights
- Weapons or explosives (unless properly licensed and declared)
- Live animals (without proper permits and arrangements)
- Perishable goods without appropriate packaging and services
5. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise specified
- Rates are subject to change based on carrier fees, fuel surcharges, and other factors
- Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement
- Late payments may incur additional fees or service suspension
- We reserve the right to adjust rates with reasonable notice
6. Liability and Insurance
Limitation of Liability
Our liability for loss or damage to shipments is limited to:
- The declared value of the shipment (if properly declared and insured)
- The maximum coverage limits specified in your service agreement
- Carrier liability limits for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Loss of profits, business opportunities, or data
- Delays caused by customs, weather, carrier issues, or force majeure events
- Damage resulting from improper packaging
- Items shipped without proper insurance coverage
Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing insurance for valuable shipments. Insurance coverage must be declared at the time of shipment. Claims must be filed within the timeframes specified by the carrier.
7. Delivery and Claims
Delivery
- Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly stated
- Signature may be required for delivery
- Shipments may be re-routed or held for additional security screening
Claims
- Damage or loss claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Claims must be accompanied by appropriate documentation and evidence
- We will investigate claims in accordance with carrier procedures
- Settlement is subject to investigation and carrier limits
8. Customs and Compliance
For international shipments:
- You are responsible for providing accurate customs declarations
- You are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees
- Shipments may be inspected or delayed by customs authorities
- You must comply with import/export regulations of all relevant countries
- We provide customs facilitation services but are not responsible for customs decisions
9. API and Integration Services
If you use our API or integration services:
- You must comply with our API documentation and usage guidelines
- You are responsible for securing your API credentials
- We may implement rate limits or usage restrictions
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue API access
- You must not abuse, overload, or attempt to breach our systems
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and documentation, is the property of pedido.miami or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not:

- Your shipment of prohibited or improperly declared items
- Your misuse of our services
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, strikes, government actions, pandemics, or carrier disruptions.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or our services will be:
- Governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA
- Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida
- First attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation
15. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending notice to your registered email address for significant changes
Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
